2017 sure flew by huh? Every year it seems to get faster and faster! This year we’re trying to be better about planning our time out, to try and combat that feeling of missing things as the year zooms by. To that end, we decided to put together this list of some of the top, best classic car shows and events across the country. They’re in every region, so knowing the ones you want to catch ahead of time will go a long way to planning your year right!

The Woodward Dream Cruise

The classic car event of Motor City! The Woodward Dream Cruise happens on the third Saturday in August, so we got a  bit of time before it hits. Over 40,000 cars will be on display, over a million people will be in attendance! It’s a huge!

Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

The next day, the third Sunday in August, sees the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance ride into town. It’s the signature classic car event of the automotive week show! The name, Concours d’Elegance, means ‘a parade of vintage vehicles,’ so you know we can’t pass it up. It brings out over two hundred collector cars (and motorcycles!) to the beach. This one also often gets a surprise product reveal from major manufacturers! Definitely one of the best.

Amelia Concours d’Elegance

Sharing its name with the Pebble Beach event, this event takes place on Amelia Island, near Jacksonville, Florida. It’s a three-day long show that takes place in March at the Ritz-Carlton. Two awards are given out to the finest in vintage vehicles.

Southwest Street Rod Nationals Plus

This three-day event is held in April. One of only ten events sponsored by National Street Road Association in the year, 1700 vintage cars will be at the State Fair Park in Oklahoma city.

The Texas Hoedown

The fairgrounds of Homestead, Texas on the fourth Saturday in May sees quite the shindig. Pre-1972 custom hot rods, choppers, muscle cars, and so much more come out to flash their looks. The hoedown also has a roller derby, art show, and live music. So much more than just a car show, it’s quite the event.
