Over the years, cars have become more and more technologically savvy. And we don’t just mean in terms of engines. We mean some of the high tech features that newer models are sporting. Without further ado, here are some of what we consider to be some of the more interesting car features to date…
- Trunks that automatically open: With this features, you’ll never have to put down a bag of groceries again! Trunks that automatically open have a sensor system that will pop the trunk if you have one of your body parts near it. In most cases, the system is hooked up automatically through “smart key” technology that activates whenever the key is around the vehicle.
- Cars with built in 4G LTE and Wi-Fi hotspots: How cool is that? You can now access the internet and all it has to offer right from the driver’s seat! This feature is obviously most helpful when you need to pull up something very quickly, like directions to your destination, a song you’re craving to hear, or where you can stop to eat in the area.
- Built in vacuums: For whatever reason, cars seem to always accumulate “stuff” like dust and crumbs. And more so often than not, we don’t clean out our cars as often as we’d like. But for cars that come with built in vacuums, it will no longer be an issue! With hoses that stretch quite far, you’ll be able to reach every nook and cranny around.
- Cars that sense traffic lights: Believe it or not, there are some vehicles that can now sense approaching traffic lights, and even count down to when the light will change. How amazing is that? It’s always a little stressful when you’re approaching a green light that’s been lit for a while, and not knowing when you should begin to slow down.
If you’re in the market looking to buy a new car, be sure to stay on the lookout for some of these new features!
